CYHRNet Oversight Committee Member.
Desiree Sattler provides NGO representation on CYHRNet's Oversight Committee. She has experience working with children and youth in counselling and educational settings and is committed to engaging young people in decision-making processes that affect their health and well-being.
Desiree is a board member with Society for Children and Youth of B.C., an advocacy organization focused on promoting children's rights. She is the Provincial Manager for violence and injury prevention programs in the Canadian Red Cross and is responsible for community-based education programs that address child maltreatment, healthy relationships and bullying prevention.
