Wendy Hall was awarded a 2008 CYHRNet Seed Grant for Night-Waking Reduction in Canadian Infants - a randomized clinical trial of a parent-based cognitive and behavioural intervention in community health units. She is currently teaching courses at UBC in maternal and child health, infant and child growth and development and research methods. She is also involved in developing interdisciplinary workshops for medical, nursing, and midwifery students, and is particularly interested in facilitating interdisciplinary work and developing student mentoring opportunities.
Dr. Hall is a reviewer for the International Journal of Qualitative Methods, Qualitative Health Research, Child Development and the Western Journal of Nursing Research. She is also a consultant to community health nurses who have identified families with infant behavioral sleep problems and is a reviewer for the CIHR Operating Grants for Clinical Trials Committee.
Dr. Hall holds a PhD in Nursing from the University of Manchester, a MSN from UBC, and a BN from the University of Manitoba.
