CYHRNet Inaugural Workshop
October 13-15, 2005. Victoria.
This was the first CYHRNet event, occurring soon after the Network's inception.
CYHRNet's inagural workshop saw BC researchers involved in any area of child and youth health submitting letters of intent and presenting the thematic focus of their research programs. Each team of researchers received up to $5,000 to assist in networking needed for the preparation of this presentation. As a direct result of the workshop, nearly $77,000 in grants was disbursed, and CYHRNet emerged with specific research foci, network structure, and goals.
