CYHRNet Third Annual Conference & AGM: Leaders, Innovators & Healers in Child and Youth Health Research

November 25 & 26, 2008 - Silver Star Resort - Vernon, BC

CYHRNet's Third Annual Conference & AGM was a success, bringing together researchers, students, policymakers and clinicians with a shared interest in child and youth health. The conference highlighted the latest research by some of the province's most prominent child and youth health researchers and prompted discussion among attendees about the practical applications of their findings.

The two day conference was broken into a series of five themed symposia, each consisting of a number of presentations. Day 1 consisted of three such symposia including presentations by CYHRNet researchers, student interns, and others interspersed with group discussion time and capped with a keynote address from David Calder, Olympics Silver Medallist.
