A group of people and organizations created to monitor water rights and bring Indigenous People's voices to the dialogue about the future direction of water issues are seeking funding for a Fall 2010 global meeting. The Indigenous People's World Forum on Water and Peace will build links to provide communities with opportunities to bridge the gaps between traditional knowledge keepers, water policy developers at all levels of government and develop Indigenous-driven and directed research.
