Measuring Injury Matters: Injury Indicators for Children and Youth in Canada, Vol. 1 and 2
Measuring Injury Matters: Injury Indicators for Children and Youth in Canada (2010) results from a project, led by CYHRNet Co-Leader Dr. Ian Pike and supported by the network, to develop a set of injury indicators for monitoring and evaluating the health of (and health services provided to) children, youth and their families in relation to injury and injury prevention (primary, secondary and tertiary) in Canada. Let's Talk About Secondhand Smoke
Let's Talk About Secondhand Smoke (2010) is a Gitxsan TRYAMF (Tobacco Reduction for Young Aboriginal Mothers and Families) Community Report for the Hazeltons and Gitxsan Area. Led by CYHRNet Co-Leader Dr. Joan Bottorff and published with CYHRNet support, this community report grew out of concerns about the secondhand smoke exposure women and children experience as they go about their daily lives in the Hazeltons & Gitxsan Area.
The report features the voices and ideas of the community and includes a discussion guide for continuing the dialogue about secondhand smoke.

In August 2009, CYHRNet supported an invitational workshop in Vancouver, led by network Co-Leader Dr. Jean-Paul Collet, which brought together clinicians, researchers and decision-makers interested in collaborating to improve systems for children and youth with chronic health conditions and their families.
The workshop report Improving Health for Children and Youth with Chronic Conditions in an Integrated Delivery System: Sharing the Knowledge, Bringing it Home (2010) is intended as a call to action. It summarizes the ideas generated at this workshop and contains a concrete action plan detailing recommended projects and lead contacts for some of them.

Listening to Vulnerable Youth - Transitioning to Adulthood in BC
Listening to Vulnerable Youth: Transitioning to Adulthood in BC (2008) is a collaboration between the Centre for Community-Based Youth Health Research, the McCreary Centre Society and CYHRNet. It focuses on youth in transition to adulthood who fall through cracks that open as their access to child health, education and welfare services ends and access to adult services begin -- a gap which can have lifelong consequences particularly on marginalized youth.
From January to November 2008, researchers conducted individual interviews and group discussions with 75 youth, ages 14 to 28, from diverse locations in BC. The report bears the fruit of these conversations, giving youth a voice to explain the challenges they face in their transition to adulthood as well as their recommendations about how we can help.
